Q: How does your company work within the cash industry?
A: Eastern Armored Services, Inc. is a full service CIT and security company specializing in transportation, same day credit, cash/coin processing, vaulting, security consulting, and security officer deployment. Our clients range from government, banking, schools, churches, health care, and non-profit charitable businesses.
Q: What is the one thing you want other SCTA member organizations to know about your company?
A: Eastern Armored is one of the last recognized independent ACS providers based in New Jersey and has been in operation for over 27 years, serving all of NJ, Eastern PA, DE, and metro NY areas. Our motto is “Right on the Money.”
Q: What drew your organization to become a member of the SCTA?
A: Eastern Armored Services owner, J. Richard Norton, has been in the industry for 45 years and knows many of the SCTA founders. The information we continually gain from updates and current trends in the industry, provided by fellow SCTA members and guest speakers, is what drew our organization to become members of SCTA and continues to keep us involved.
Q: What are the biggest challenges the cash industry will face in the next 1-3 years? Why?
A: For CIT carriers in the industry, the challenge is, and will continue to be, in acquiring and staffing qualified individuals, ensuring employee safety, and minimizing employment turnover. This is because of ever-changing gun, labor, and transportation laws, vehicle restrictions, as well as government-mandated industry-specific training.
