Griffin, Inc. Acquired by Smith Transportation Equipment (STE)
A Statement from Stephen Blount, President, Smith+Griffin
With great excitement, I am pleased to announce the acquisition of Griffin, Inc. by Smith Transportation Equipment (STE). Founded in 1994, in Byhalia, MS, STE is the leading manufacturer of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment. The joining of these two industry-leading companies, separated by less than 5 miles, harkens back to the glory days of American ingenuity and craftsmanship.
Customer benefits of this union include: a 300% increase in production capacity, the addition of state-of-the-art equipment, enhanced engineering capabilities, and a knowledgeable and experienced administrative staff to provide every customer with unmatched quality, customer service, and dependability.
